Clean Up With Up To £3,500 Towards A New Vauxhall Van
•New Vauxhall vans avoid daily charge for driving in Ultra Low Emission Zone in London
•All vans in Vauxhall's current range are compliant with Euro 6 emissions standards
Luton – Following the recent introduction of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in London, Vauxhall is encouraging micro businesses to take advantage of Transport for London's (TfL) new scrappage scheme and save thousands of pounds on the cost of a new cleaner van.
Businesses with less than ten employees can claim back up to £3,500 from TfL for switching their old van to a newer, cleaner, and more efficient model. Since the launch of the ULEZ in April, owners of vans which do not comply with air quality standards are required to pay £12.50 a day to drive in the area. With a new van from Vauxhall owners can avoid this hefty charge.
The multi-award-winning Combo Cargo has a payload of up to 1,000kg, a range of low-emission engines and advanced connectivity. The all-new British-built Vivaro, offers a payload of up to 1.4 tonnes with a load volume of 6.6 m3.
Topping off the range is the new Movano, with a massive cargo capacity of 22m3 and space for up to five Euro pallets. On sale in June, the Movano is the perfect companion for the busy streets of London, featuring a rear-view camera, blind spot monitoring system and a lane departure warning system.
While the current Vauxhall line up has a van to suit every need, many used models are also compliant with Euro 6 emissions standards. Businesses are encouraged to speak to their local Vauxhall retailer to confirm the emission details of any used Vauxhall vans.
Small business owners can find out more about the scrappage scheme and check the eligibility of their current vehicles on the TfL website: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission-zone/scrappage-scheme?cid=scrappage-scheme
